What is Thornwell Football & Community Pavilion?
Thornwell Football & Community Pavilion hosts Wednesday coffee mornings and parents supporting parents group. There is also a Saturday club for parents to get involved in playing with their children, and a Sunday soft play sessions. Minis and juniors football teams.
Why should Thornwell Football & Community Pavilion receive a donation from the Good Neighbour programme?
The aim of the Pavilion is to provide a safe environment for families to gather, chat and have fun with their children. One of the volunteers who is close to the project is singlehandedly trying to raise funds and needs help to better make use of advertising opportunities to progress the project and ensure the Pavilion is able to keep offering their service to the community.
What could Thornwell Football & Community Pavilion use the money for?
The Thornwell Football & Community Pavilion could use Good Neighbour funding for the hire of the hall and facilities, equipment and toys to play with, arts and crafts supplies, and for sports/ football bibs, balls, training equipment. The funding could provide refreshments and snacks for all who come along and get involved with the project, and also the possibility of family movie nights with correct equipment/ projector.
