Sweet Ways to Stop Abuse Ltd was a runner up and won £500 funding during our 2016 campaign.
What is Sweet Ways to Stop Abuse Ltd?
Sweet Ways To Stop Abuse was set up in 2015 with the sole purpose to raise money to support, educate and counsel young people whose lives are being or have been affected by any form of abuse. They have two funding streams; one being the Jelly Bean Machines which are sited in places like F1 & Kwik Fit, the second is training delivered to fellow professionals on safeguarding in all forms of abuse. All profits from this training is returned to the organisation for them to help future generations.
Why should Sweet Ways to Stop Abuse Ltd receive a donation from the Good Neighbour programme?
Essex County Council has withdrawn all future funding for Counselling in Schools and although in North Essex there are organisations tailored to young adults, their waiting lists are long.
What could Sweet Ways to Stop Abuse Ltd use the money for?
The money would be used to support, educate and counsel young adults from ages 11-19 who have & are being affected by any form of abuse.
